As temperatures become hot, hot, hot, we’re all anxious for ways to stay cool. Our first line of defense from the heat is to protect our bodies from getting over heated in the first place. To start, add a non-toxic SPF to your daily morning routine. Even though you may not be planning to spend an extended amount of time outside, during the summer a walk to the car or a chat with a neighbor near the mailbox could leave skin with an unfamiliar pink hue.

Also, try to cover skin as much as possible with hats, clothing, and even lightweight scarves.
