Allantoin
Allantoin is known for its gentleness. It heals and soothes dry, rough skin, and promotes the growth of healthy tissue—all delivering a comforting balm for thirsty skin.  Derived from the Comfrey plant.

 

Aloe*
You probably already know that aloe is a great soothing balm for painful sunburned skin, but were you aware that it full of vitamins and minerals and provides essential micronutrients? Aloe strengthens skin tissue and assists with skin’s natural synthesis.

 

Argan Oil*

Argan Oil is derived from the nut of the Argan Tree.  With a high vitamin E content and renowned anti-inflammatory properties, it is fast becoming one of our favorite new organic oils.

 

Arnica*
Arnica has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities that can reduce pain and swelling, improving wound healing.

 

Avocado Oil*
This luxurious oil is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E— exactly what your dry skin craves!

 

Beeswax*

Beeswax is serves several functions.  It is a protectant, a moisturizer and an emusifyer.  Beeswax is a byproduct of beekeeping and bees are not harmed when it is extracted.

 

Calendula

Calendula is derived from the petals of the Calendula Flower.  It can also be infused into other oils.  Skin Yummies has it's own infusion blend, noted for healing and being an anti-inflammatory.

 

Camellia Japonica*

Camellia oil is a new addition to the Sally B's line of luxury ingredients.  Camellia oil is fast absorbing which means that it never sits on the skin for long.  It has great anti-oxidant properties, no scent and works well as a wrinkle fighter.

 

Carnauba Wax*

Carnauba Wax is a sweet edible wax extracted from the leaves of a palm tree that grows only in Brazil.

 

Castille Soap*

Castille soap is made from the oils of organic coconuts, olives and jojoba.  The oils are saponified into a wonderful, pure and organic liquid soap that contains no sulfates and yet lathers and cleans extremely well.

 

Castor Oil*

Castor Oil is derived from the bean of the Castor plant.  We use it to give our lip product their extra shine and gloss.  Many alternative healers praise Castor Oil as cleansing and rejuvenating.

 

Caffeine

Caffeine is used to boost circulation, and firm and tone skin. The result is to help your skin look fresh and young!

 

Cocoa Butter* 
Cocoa Butter is a yummy ingredient. Not only does it smell mildly like chocolate, but it is a wonderful emollient and a mild preservative as well. You find it frequently used in skincare products for its moisturizing properties.

 

Coconut Oil*

Coconut Oil is considered a luxury ingredient for the skin.    It is a stable oil, high in vitamin E and great to work with.  It's a soothing, skin-loving ingredient in our Eco-Body Lotion.  Look for it in more of our products.

 

Comfrey*
Comfrey refreshes your skin by soothing irritated patches and tightening tissues.

 

Evening Primrose Oil*
Evening primrose oil moisturizes and softens the skin, and reduces inflammation. The benefits are especially desirable for dry or scaly patches of skin. With an abundance of the essential fatty acid omega-6, evening primrose oil promotes good hydration and gives skin a healthy plush feel.

 

French Green Clay is used to absorb oil, dirt and toxins from the skin. At the same time, it exfoliates the skin and improves the circulation.

 

Glycerin
Glycerin is one of the best natural moisturizers available! It helps to retain your skin’s natural moisture, and has a lovely cooling effect on the skin.

 

Green Tea*
Green tea is well known for its antioxidant properties. In cosmetic use it acts as a natural astringent to help detoxify and purify the skin. This is beneficial in any anti-aging skincare routine!

 

Hyaluronic Acid
A natural moisturizer that attracts and binds water, hyaluronic acid helps to lubricate and firm the skin, giving it a youthful appearance. It is a preferred ingredient in wrinkle treatment products.

 

Jojoba Oil*
Jojoba oil makes the skin feel smooth. Its superb moisturizing ability helps reduce water loss without leaving the skin feeling greasy. A natural source of vitamin E, it helps to fight fine lines and skin roughness. Jojoba oil has antibacterial properties which make it a good, gentle cleanser.

 

Kokum Butter
Kokum butter is essential for treating extremely dry, rough skin—like heels and elbows. It is easily absorbed by these scaly patches to provide true relief without a greasy residue.

 

Mango Butter
Mango butter is an indulgent moisturizer with a lovely rich buttery feel. It softens and regenerates dull, tired skin.

 

Marula Oil

Our new favorite carrier oil! It has a lovely feel and the bonus is that it contains, antioxidants, oleic acid, palmitic acid and feels great on your skin.

 

Olive Oil*
Olive oil conditions your skin to make it bright and supple. Helping your skin retain its natural moisture, olive oil adds resilience and enables the skin to glow.

 

Sea Kelp
Sea kelp is a concentrated source of minerals that helps revive the skin by nourishing, softening, and helping it to retain natural moisture.

 

Shea Butter*
Shea butter is a superb moisturizer rich in fatty acids. It melts into your skin! The presence of Vitamins A and E help skin feel supple and rejuvenated, while preventing fine lines and healing rough, dry skin.

 

Sweet Almond Oil*

Sweet almond oil, easily absorbed, is known for its ability to soften, soothe, and recondition skin. As skin is nourished, elasticity is restored. This leaves skin feeling refined.

 

Tamanu Oil* is one of the newest oils available to the formulator. For centuries, Polynesian and Melanesians have used this oil to treat rashes, inflammation, acne, infection and dry skin. Scientific studies show Tamanu Oil to have anti-inflammatory, anti-neuralgic, antibiotic and antioxidant properties

 

Witch Hazel 

Witch Hazel extract is distilled from the leaves, the twigs and the bark of the Witch Hazel shrub.  Beware that the Witch Hazel that you purchase does not have a high alcohol content.  This can be drying. We use a double-distilled Witch Hazel that contains low levels of alcohol.  Witch Hazel is found in our toners and our herbal deodorants.
